Shakti prasad Gauchan is one of Nepal allrounder better to say finest left arm spinner who plays the great role for the development of Nepal cricket from the unknown nation to the well know nation among the world.

Gauchan made his debut in 2002 against the oman.He became the second Nepalese cricketer to score an international century, when he slammed an unbeaten 106 off 103 balls against Italy during the ICC World Cup Qualifying Series in February 2005.

6ft 1 inch tall Gauchan wears 44 number Jersey for Nepalese cricket team.He lead the Jagadamba Giants in NPL in the year 2014 while APF during 2011 to 2015.

RecordsHe is first Nepali to take a hattrick.He smashed 2nd century from Nepal.

He will be only the player to retired in the debut ODI match which he announced after First ODI between Nepal and Netherland.

Numerous performances as such and examples of Gauchan single-handedly carrying the weight of the team are there aplenty. 15 wickets in the 2012 ACC Lite Trophy, 16 wickets in the 2012 ICC T20 qualifier and 10 wickets in the 2012 Division four are some of Gauchan’s major contributions in recent tournaments, all of which have played a pivotal role in the recent successes experienced by the senior squad.
In 2014 world cupT20 Bangladesh, he was phenomenal in an 80 run win over Honk Kong in the first group match and was awarded the man of the match for his impressive 3 wicket haul. He took total of 5 wickets playing three matches in the tournament.

PARAS KHADKA , the captain of Nepali cricket team is regarded as the most valuable captain in the present golden era of the Nepali cricket. He leads his team from the division four cricket to the ODI nation. 
He was borned in 24 th october,1987 in the capital Kathmandu,Nepal. He is 6ft 3inch  tall and a huge fans of Liverpool football club and often seen many times in the Liverpool FC jersey. If Paras wasn't been the cricketer he will be the basketball player since he played outstanding basketball in his early age.

PROFILE

Paras khadka is the heart of the Nepali cricket as well as in the fans of Nepal since from his well determined and consistent captain.He is a medium pace bowler and specially a distructive batsman of Nepal.He has also played u-15 and u-19 levels.He leads Nepal in the U-19 worldcup in the year of 2004, 2006 and 2008 apart from being in the senior level team.He takes the responsibility of the captaincy from his early age from 2009.

In U-19 ACC trophy 2007 khadka has been elected as the man of the tournament in result Nepal qualify for the world cup.In the tournament he picked up the 12 wickets as they only need to satisfied in the runner up.

Nepali team is always handful in his captaincy. In his captaincy Nepal won the ICC world cricket league Division 5,Division 4 and Division 3.Nepali people can't forget when for the first time they qualified for the ICC world cup 2014 in Bangladesh under khadka captaincy. He scored 83 runs and picked single wicket in the 3 matches.

@ Khadka is the 7th player in T20I history to take wicket on the first ball of career. He set this           record against Hong Kong when he bowled out Irfan Ahmed on the very first ball of the innings. 

@  Paras Khadka was denied a United States visa when he applied for a student Visa.

As the earning of Nepali cricketer is not so much good,stable and compareable to the other worldwide players but the earning of Khadka is quite good and nice.He earns from the contracts,different commercial ads,his salary and different franchise based tournament.

Paras Khadka earns $350 monthly as being the A grade national player. He gets around 20,000 to 30,000 from the franchise tournament o Nepal.He is also busy in ads of Nepal and gets around 30,000 to 10,000 according to the length of the ads. Hence the total estimated net earning is about $3,00,000.

There are very few Nepali  cricketer who hardly own their own car.Paras Khadka owns Fiat Adventure which cost Nepali 33 lakhs($32,000).He is mostly seen with his bike. He own his own bike Pulsar NS 200.He ride his bike during his way to training.He get the bike after he won the best player of the year in NSJF Pulser sport award.

CAN

Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has taken another brilliant step during the meeting of the five-member independent
panel according to the revised constitution adopted by the CAN  last April.

The five member includes the ICC Deputy chairman ,Imran Khwaja, along with the three representitive selected by the ICC
Muhammad Ali, Head of Internal Audit; Ammar Shaikh, Senior Manager - Strategic Projects and Niteesha Kothari, Finance
and Operations Officer – Asia. Similarly Lekh Bahadur Chhetri and Thakur Pratap Thapa was added with them which were
nominated by the National Sport Council and existing CAN Central Working Committee respectively.

During the meeting they conclude to forecast the process , guideline and the timeline of the election. This mean that the date and venue of the election must be declared according to the revised constitution. The election should be done from the district level and the provinance level and finally to the central election.

 “This is a positive step forward for cricket in Nepal, the meetings this week have progressed well, and the ICC remains
confident that this will lay a solid foundation for the long-term good governance of the sport in Nepal.” Imran Khwaja said in the meeting.

He also doesn't failed to congratulate the Nepal first ever ODI victory which was completed against the Netherland. He
said: “Congratulations to Nepal for their first ODI victory, this is another example of the journey that Nepal are taking, and
reinforces why it is so important to keep progressing off-field, as well as on it.”

ICC Cricket World Cup

The ICC world cup 2019 is about to begin in the England and Wales from 30 May to 14 July 2019. It is the very big news for the Nepal since the Trophy will also be in the Nepal during the world tour.

This is the first time that the any trophy is travelling such a long distance. The trophy will travel 5 different continents which includes 21 different country and 60 cities.

This will be the most connected trophy ever. That trophy will be lifted at Lord’s Cricket Ground on 14 July, 2019.

WHERE WILL THE TROPHY TRAVELLING????


The trophy was travelled not only in the country who were playing the cricket world cup but also in the Country where the Cricket craze and the cricket rapidly developing nation like America, Nepal Germany like country including 11 countries in the interval of the 9 months.

The Trophy will travel From the United Arab Emirates to Oman, the USA, the West Indies, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, India, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Kenya, Rwanda, Nigeria, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany and finally to the England and Wales on 19 February, 2019 for the world cup event.
